Web/Flash/Flex Works

Communique - '04

Technologies used: Adobe Flash, ASP, Javascript, HTML.

This was a bi-yearly magazine for our college. For the first time, it was decided that a CD would be provided with the magazine with cool stuffs. I got an opportunity to create the CD page design. I opted to do it in flash. The page had a smooth flow of animation while navigating different pages.

BRAT - Bug Report and Analysis Tool

Technologies Used: Adobe Flex, MXML, XML, ASP, MSSQL

As the name suggests, this tool was created to analyse thousands of bugs raised every release. The tool generates different types of charts based on various criterias provided by the user. The data to draw these charts were collected by calling different APIs exposed by another company-internal application.

Intranet Portal

Technologies used: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP, MSAccess

The portal was created to access data sooner and quicker from the file system. Certain order and naming conventions were followed, in order to save different files related to various releases of the product I was working on. This made it easier for me to create the portal. The portal gave access to various frequently used files placed in the file system.

NB: The screenshot below has been blurred as it contained company specific confidential data.

eMarket.com

Technologies used: HTML, CSS, Flash, Javascript, Perl, Oracle 8i

This was created as part of the college assignment which was to create a website using cgi-perl. I decided on creating an online shopping cart system. This introduced me to PERL and handling various server requests. The initial flash intro page of the site is shown below.

NB:

- Requires Adobe Flash Player.

- Pressing "Enter Site" link will throw a "Page not found" error as it was linked to my personal computer while doing the demo.

KamsWorld

This is a personal site created while I was getting familiar with the Adobe Flash technology. I kind of liked the intro swf which I created. The site was hosted on one of the free servers and hasn't been updated from a very long time. It seems to be out of shape these days but you are free to visit though. Click the image below to see the intro.

NB:

- Requires Adobe Flash Player

- Pressing "Enter" option at the end of the intro will give a page not found error. It is linked to the html file of my personal site.
